- Responsibility for the leadership and line management of the TA team ensuring they have the right skills, training and development required
- Focussing on the candidate experience and employer brand as the role will take full responsibility for ensuring SEPA becomes an employer of choice and attracts a diverse range of candidates from different backgrounds and experiences
- Creating and maintaining an engaging and positive candidate application process - for internal and external candidates
- Implementing & supporting best practice procedures to ensure a highly supportive hiring manager experience across the organisation
- Operating as the in-house expert on recruitment by engaging with internal stakeholders to give best advice and support in all aspects of hiring whether internal or external
- Increasing direct fill hires by utilising social media platforms, networking and talent pooling. The post has been created to allow our permanent TA Manager to deliver a programme of change within the TA function. - Proven experience managing a Talent Acquisition (TA) team within an in-house environment
- Demonstrated ability to drive effective recruitment strategies that align with the organisational needs
- Strong capability to work collaboratively across multiple departments to ensure the entire candidate journey is seamless, supportive and informative and delivers an exceptional experience for both internal and external candidates
- In-depth understanding of the legal and regulatory requirements related to the hiring process, including equal opportunity employment, diversity & inclusion, and compliance
- Skilled in managing the full spectrum of the hiring processes, from designing assessment centres for early careers programmes to participating as a panel member for senior-level executive recruitment
- The ability to be a positive role model displaying sound leadership, management, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
