Full Job Description

Escape Recruitment Services Commercial Division are working with our client based in the West Lothian area to recruit an Internal Sales Executive on a permanent basis due to continued company success and growth.

Based within the Sales team and Customer Service team, you will deal with existing and lapsed customers as well as converting potentially new customers, developing a strong relationship in order to organically grow customer account and increase sales revenue.

Responsibilities include

  • Establish and maintaining customer relationships
  • Build an effective call cycle in order to maintain regular contact with customers
  • Identify opportunities with customers to sell additional products and services
  • Provide technical product specification, availability and pricing
  • Proactively contact customers to promote new products and advise of product launches
  • Build sales quotes for customers including follow up and close
  • As require, deliver presentations to customers on products, this would be mostly online meetings but on occasion these could be in person
  • Maintain sales pipeline and forecasting
  • Provide reports on sales activities and achievements
  • Ensure CRM database is updates and accurate
  • Deal with any customer issues and complaints, resolving in a timely manner
  • Process sales orders, arrange returns and send invoice and credit information to accounts for processing

Background required

  • Previous experience of working in a similar sales, customer relationship development &/or account management role
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer service levels
  • Strong communication skills, able to build relationships with customers, stakeholders and internal teams
  • Experience of building sales pipeline and forecasting using relevant software
  • Confident IT skills including MS Office and CRM databases
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
