Full Job Description

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Inventory Analyst is responsible for managing the Client Inventory and delivery of services to the client in accordance with ASCO policy, procedures, work instructions and agreed service level agreements. Duties include:

  • Manage the clients Inventory and assist in the delivery of the Warehouse & Receipts function.


  • Item Master creation/Approval.


  • Re-orders for Warehouse Stock and Work Order Requirements.


  • Assist with Training, Coaching and Developing Warehouse Team Members.


  • Manage cyclical stock counts in warehouse and vendors.


  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with client contacts to assist with the efficient operation.


  • Assist in the day-to-day Warehouse Operation and ensure adherence to all relevant procedures, legislative requirements and industry standards with specific focus on the adherence to the UK Oil and Gas Guidelines.


  • Assist with the investigation of all service failures, incidents and accidents in order ensure a robust and auditable system of continual improvement.


  • Ensuring the service customer expectations, in conjunction with Service Level Agreement & KPIs.


  • Inventory management focusing on processing work orders, stock movements, returns, items for repair and scrap disposals.


  • Act as a client focal point for users both onshore and offshore, responding quickly and accurately to issues/queries raised.


  • Tracking client material through MAXIMO system, interrogation of system to check on movements and history. Be conversant with the various types of Inventory reports, being able to produce, if necessary, i.e. Storage reports, Binning Register, Pick Lists.


  • Stock counting inventory held, investigating discrepancies highlighted by the process.


  • Ensure goods are receipted and packed in accordance offshore matrices.


  • Participate in "On-Call" duty rota.


  • Ad-Hoc Holiday Cover and Flex Friday Cover for Clients Logistics Coordinator Role and for Offshore PMC (Training will be Provided)

    Maintains positive work relationships.


  • Previous supervisory experience.


  • Extensive experience of warehouse operations.


  • Inventory and Logistics experience.


  • Awareness of HSSEQ legislation.


  • Computer literate with well-developed IT skills across the Microsoft suite, particularly Excel.


  • Practical understanding of data entry and reporting applications, specifically MAXIMO warehouse transactions and processes.


  • Solutions based with strong planning, organising and numeric skills, and an excellent attention to detail.


  • Accustomed to working effectively in a fast-paced environment, flexible and can adapt to changing workloads and priorities and emergency situations, where high standards are not compromised under pressure.


  • Motivated to achieve the highest standards of performance and customer support, maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.


  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.


  • Ability to work stand-alone while a positive contributor to the wider team.


  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Current Forklift License.


  • Dangerous Goods by Sea (IMDG)

    A current Immigration Status Document containing a photograph issued by the Home Office to the holder with a valid endorsement indicating that the named person may stay in the UK, and is allowed to do the type of work in question, together with an official document giving the person's permanent National Insurance number and their name issued by a Government agency or a previous employer
    An Application Registration Card issued by the Home Office stating that the holder is permitted to take the employment in question
