Eden Scott's client is currently seeking a professional individual to join their Edinburgh office

As a Financial Services Investment Portfolio Analyst, you will be responsible for efficiently performing allocated tasks to a high standard, and working within deadlines. You will manage your workload independently, handling client portfolios with accuracy and attention to detail. Main Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Maintain accurate information in key systems, including Investments statements, transactions, financials, and accounting records for a portfolio of clients.
  • Perform manual entries from client bank/portfolio statements and review automated transactional and data feeds.
  • Raise and resolve queries promptly, liaising with team members or clients to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Prepare client-facing reports, such as portfolio information, financial statements, or liquidation accounts.
  • Take responsibility for more complex entities and areas within the client portfolio.
  • Participate actively in client calls and meetings to discuss ongoing matters and track work against delivery schedules.
  • Adhere to core values and expected behaviours in all aspects of your work.
  • Perform any other duties as required by management.

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong Financial Services experience with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Sound Knowledge on Financial Services Transactions, Statements, Portfolio Data
  • Excellent analytical skills and good numeracy.
  • Proficient in IT, particularly with Excel, and a good understanding of financial systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and client communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and clients.
