We're thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join a renewable energy leader in Edinburgh city centre. This hybrid role is perfect for a tech-savvy professional skilled in Office 365, Microsoft Windows OS, Active Directory, and desktop/printer support. Azure experience is a bonus!

Role Overview:
You'll provide 1st and 2nd line support, manage and deploy laptop and desktop systems, and maintain IT infrastructure. This role offers excellent career growth opportunities within IT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Microsoft 365 and Windows OS.
- Provide infrastructure support (on-premise and cloud).
- Oversee server, desktop systems, and VPN/remote access.
- Solutions-driven with excellent customer-facing skills
- Infrastructure support, on-premise and cloud.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
Required skills:
- Microsoft 365
- Networking protocols, and TCP/IP fundamentals
- Windows Server, Windows 11
- Active Directory & MS Exchange
- knowledge of IT products, (Windows Server, Core Infrastructure Server Hardware)
- IT Security solutions (Anti-Virus, Anti-Malware, Encryption, MFA Technologies).
- Automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Understanding of server and desktop systems
- Infrastructure support, on-premise and cloud.
- VPN/Remote Access Support
