Full Job Description
As the Applications Support Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Group's application strategy, focusing on operational support, system usage, and smarter working practices. Your diverse responsibilities will include:
- developing scalable, secure, and user-friendly platforms to meet the evolving needs of our organisation;
- overseeing day-to-day support delivery, ensuring high availability and optimal performance of our applications;
- collaborating with business leads and application users to gather feedback and drive continuous improvement in our applications;
- encouraging the adoption of productivity-enhancing tools and practices, fostering a culture of efficiency and innovation; and
- implementing and maintaining robust security measures to protect our applications and data, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
We are seeking a motivated individual with a positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills to join our team as the Applications Support Lead. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage a team, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure the seamless operation and security of our applications. As a logical thinker focused on finding innovative solutions, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment where adaptability and the ability to meet tight deadlines are essential. You will have a strong track record in providing technical leadership and successfully delivering applications implementation and upgrade projects. Your excellent leadership and team management skills will enable you to guide and mentor your team effectively, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
