Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Apprentice to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in various IT functions, including setting up new Windows devices, providing general assistance to the IT team, setting up desks with IT equipment, learning and supporting specific company applications, and offering basic Microsoft 365 support.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Setting up new Windows devices: Configure and deploy new Windows devices for employees, ensuring all necessary software is installed and settings are configured.
- General assistance to IT Team: Provide support to the IT team in daily operations, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining IT infrastructure.
- Setup desk with IT equipment: Assist in setting up workstations with the required IT equipment, including monitors, keyboards, mice, and docking stations.
- Learn and support specific company applications: Gain knowledge of company-specific applications and provide support to end-users as needed.
- Basic Microsoft 365 support: Assist users with basic Microsoft 365 tasks, including email setup, troubleshooting common issues, and providing guidance on using Microsoft Office applications.
What we are looking for:
Skills and Experience:
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Salary: £16,640 per annum.
Working hours:
Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm -- 37.5hrs a week.

- Junior IT Support Technician: Providing first-line support to end-users and assisting with more complex IT issues.
- System Integration Engineer: Assisting in integrating new acquisitions / divisions into the company systems.
- Systems Administrator: Managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.
Future prospects:
90% of QA apprentices secure permanent employment after completing: this is 20% higher than the national average.
