IT Project Manager

My Client, a brilliant provider of IT Services, are looking to take on an IT Project Manager on a permanent basis to join their team.

You will largely be working on IT software/applications/365 projects.

Your duties will include:

Take personal responsibility for delivering the requested initiatives to the best of your ability and to a high standard.

Create project plans using the organisations standard methodologies.

Track and monitor financial spend on managed projects, escalating variance to budget.

Actively monitor day to day project activities to ensure that progress is aligned with the plan and services are delivered to a high standard.

Monitor resource utilization and proactively identify and resolve any issues.

Coordinate and organize project meetings with team members, clients, 3rd parties and steering committees as required.

Provide leadership and guidance to the project team.

Report project status to key stakeholders and interested parties.

Take ownership of change requests throughout the life of the project.

Participate in pre-project management including business case creation, business analysis and options appraisal, where applicable.

Proactively identify corrections for project plan documentation and ensures project issues are resolved in a timely and quality manner.

Recommend and take proactive action to manage project risks by developing effective recommendations.

Ensure that projects deliver the envisaged business benefits.

Ensures project details, status updates and documentation are current and stored appropriately.

Manage 3rd party vendor and external supplier relationships.

This role would be well suited to an experienced project manager, with a good understanding of the end to end project life cycle, and a good understanding of process based projects. You should be confident, well organised with a great customer manner and good work ethic to succeed in this role.
