The aim of the job is to provide support to a man, in his late 50s, living with advanced Parkinsons.

The rate of pay is £15.00 per hour. The post is in Dunbar.

The post is for 12 hours per week, ideally spread over 2 days. The actual days and times of work can be negotiated to meet your needs and mine. Additional hours may be available from time to time as required.

The focus of the role will be to support activities of daily living whilst providing encouragement and practical assistance to maintain independence and enjoy life. You will need to support me to get into and out of chairs, and to the toilet as required and to take medication. Making meals and drinks throughout the day and other domestic tasks to support the upkeep of my home. I would like to attend social activities and get out of the house when I am able to do so. It would be really helpful if you can drive an automatic car and have a clean driving licence.
