Joiner

Morgan Hunt are working with a large maintenance organisation to recruit joiners to join there team on a permanent basis. You will be joining an organisation who pride themselves on maintaining there properties to the highest standards, ensuring safe and comfortable living environments for residents.

Our Client are looking for a skilled Maintenance Joiner to join there dedicated team. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of carpentry and joinery tasks across the extensive property portfolio, ensuring that homes are well-maintained and meet all safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in responding to repair requests, carrying out planned maintenance, and ensuring excellent service delivery to tenants.

Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including door and window repairs, flooring, skirting boards, cabinetry, and other joinery tasks.
• Carry out planned and emergency repairs, ensuring all work is completed to high standards.
• Work closely with the maintenance team and property managers to prioritise tasks.
• Identify and report any additional repair or maintenance requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• SVQ Level 3 or Equivalent
• Proven experience in a maintenance role, ideally within a housing association or social housing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving license (essential).
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to maintenance work.
• Ability to join an On Call rota.
