The Capital Investment Team within Housing Services are looking to recruit a Chargehand to work within our kitchen and bathroom replacement team.

The successful candidate will be expected to work with the team assisting with the installation of kitchens and bathrooms. As well as carrying out installations the successful candidate will be expected to assist with the co-ordination of the work and help oversee a dedicated multi-trade team.The role will also involve supporting the Technical Supervisor and Capital Team with implementation of the investment programme. The post holder will also have responsibility for liaising with clients and customers.

The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team responsible for providing a professional service which is delivered as efficiently as possible.You will need a trade background with experience of kitchen and bathroom installation along with good communication skills and some experience of Microsoft applications. A knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and its requirements is also required.

The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in and help deliver toolbox talks and safety updates to their team. There is also a requirement to participate in our Standby/On Call Rota.
