Junior Accountant

As a JuniorAccountant you will be responsible for maintaining all financial records, managing the day-today- financial transactions and helping the finance function grow., Update and maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial data is input accurately

Record financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments

Build, maintain and develop relationships with customers and suppliers

Support with budgeting and forecasting and report findings back to team

Review payroll with the accountant

Ensure compliance is in-line with relevant tax laws

Manage shipping documents

Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable

Ensure landing costs are always updated

Analyse expenses and revenues

Assist with all general day-to-day administration requirements

A degree in Finance or Accounting would be preferred but not essential

A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role and environment

Experience using SAGE is essential

Strong problem solving skills

A strong communicator who can also work well in a team

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Salary up to £28,000
