Utopian Professional Recruitment are delighted to be working with our well established who are looking to expand their team with a Junior Business Analyst.


This opportunity would suit someone with a proven background in creating process documentation and training materials. The ideal candidate will be highly organised with a good attention to detail, as well as being a strong communicator with people at various levels.


Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop process documentation, work instructions, and training materials, while offering feedback on best practices to operational teams.
  • Establish and standardize formats for all operational and project documentation, contributing to the improvement and upkeep of documentation governance frameworks and methodologies to ensure consistency.
  • Work with teams and project leads to test and update documentation in response to service and process improvements.
  • Track, monitor, and maintain business processes, process re-engineering, and key stakeholder journeys, and report findings to the Process Efficiency Manager.
  • Adopt a diplomatic and tactful approach when working with teams and their stakeholders to gain a thorough understanding of the services and processes they deliver.
  • Assist stakeholders in mapping current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) processes during continuous improvement and transition projects.
  • Act as a champion for change, promoting and disseminating information about the benefits of fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the firm.
  • Support the delivery of process improvement workshops and events, working with various stakeholders to address specific challenges.
  • Provide coaching to staff on process map creation and the governance framework for process documentation.
  • Encourage and support the development of a continuous improvement mindset across the firm through coaching and involvement in various improvement initiatives.

To be considered for this opportunity, our client does require the following background / experience:

  • Proficient in using the MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in creating process documentation, work instructions, and training materials.
  • Proven ability to capture and define process and system requirements, translating general needs into clear, actionable processes.
  • Keen attention to detail, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • The role requires extensive interaction with global stakeholders, necessitating a blend of intellect, maturity, strong character, and the ability to earn respect.
  • Resilient and adaptable, able to respond effectively to pressure and changing demands.
  • Capable of working independently, efficiently, and with initiative, delivering results swiftly.
  • Strong team player with the ability to influence and motivate diverse teams towards achieving sustained process improvements.
