Junior Estimator / Trainee QS

This client based in the Perth area is looking to bring in a Junior Estimator/Trainee QS with the view of developing them within the company.

The Role

To support the Senior QS, Director and Senior Project Managers with pricing, tenders and estimates.

Responsibilities

·        Downloading tender documents.

·        Issue enquiries to Sub-contractors/Suppliers etc.

·        Reviewing & selecting sub-contractor quotations.

·        Collation of information and completion of Bills of Quantities.

·        Preparation of estimates based off square metre rates/Preparing budget rates etc.

·        Collation of Tender Analysis.

·        Maintain Sub-Contractor Database.

·        Administration & filing tasks for Estimating Team.

·        Any other duties required by the Company.

Requirements

·        Experience in a similar role would be desirable.

·        Strong interpersonal, communications and organisation skills.

·        Ability to work well to deadlines and prioritise workload effectively.

·        Flexible and adaptable approach to work.

·        Excellent attention to detail.

·        A strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure to deliver high quality work in a demanding environment.

Salary- £26-30K
