An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Business Transformation Team as a Junior Web Developer. The post will play a key role in the further development of college systems, both in the support of learning and in improving the efficiencies of our administrative and support services.

The position of Junior Web Developer will report to the Business Transformation Manager and will support the Web Developer in development of the College's external and internal web-based systems, using predominantly PHP, but with a view for new developments to be undertaken in a Microsoft environment as the College moves into the next stage of its Microsoft 365 implementation.

This position requires knowledge and experience of developing web based applications through the use of PHP, HTML, SQL and a working knowledge of database design and build. Experience of working in a Microsoft Web environment would be beneficial.

You should be innovative, able to challenge conventional practices, adapts established methods for optimum performance, pursues ongoing system improvement and evaluates new technology as potential solutions to existing problems.
