Kitchen Assistant - Victoria Quay

We require a motivated enthusiastic individual to fill this post. The successful applicant will carry out a variety of duties including but not restricted to serving, cleaning, washing up, stock rotation and general kitchen duties including assisting our Victoria Quay Nursery Manager to ensure that the daily two course lunch for the children in our nursery setting is kept within the current CookSafe House Rules standards.

We are currently seeking applications for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the following post in our Victoria Quay Childcare Team, Hygiene in the kitchen is paramount and previous experience is desirable but, not necessary.

The ideal candidate will have good written communication skills due to the high level of daily kitchen paperwork involved.

The applicant should have an Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate or higher and previous experience of catering or cleaning within a childcare environment is desirable.

• Become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme.


• Work in the UK and have the relevant documents to prove this.


• Pass stringent Scottish Government Security Clearance Protocols.
  
  Part Time - 15 Hours/Week (Monday - Friday shifts of 11:00am-2:00pm)

(Additional hours may be available on some days but not guaranteed).
Salary - up to £8,923.20/annum based on 15 hours per week (depending on age)
