Kitchen & Furniture Designer

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Kitchen and Furniture Designer to join our Clients team. As a Kitchen and Furniture Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating bespoke kitchens and furniture pieces for clients. Our Client is a well established family run joinery business based in Dumfries.,

• Meet with clients to determine their specific requirements and preferences for their kitchen or furniture piece.


• Create designs and detailed plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.


• Work with other members of the design team to ensure the design meets the client's requirements and budget.


• Prepare cost estimates and quotations for the project.


• Liaise with the production team to ensure the design is manufactured to the required standards and specifications.


• Ensure the design complies with health and safety regulations and building codes.


• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in kitchen and furniture design.
  
  Excellent knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
