Kitchen Porter

As Kitchen Porter carry out all required duties within the stewarding department and all related areas in accordance with standards set in the performance manual for the department.

A little bit about what you will be doing:

· To assist with the cleaning of operating equipment during banquet functions or at peak periods in back of house areas related to the outlets
· To wash and polish all operating equipment and cooking utensils and examine cleanliness before distribution
· To distribute cleaned equipment to appropriate locations
· To clear all used operating equipment for washing in accordance with the systems in use
· To place all cleaned items in the appropriate storage areas or distribute to various outlets
· To assist in the preparation of operating equipment for functions, inventories and other requirements and distribute
· To ensure standards with personal hygiene and grooming are consistently met, · Staff shuttle service to/from St Andrews
