Kitchen Porter Rota based

search hospitality in Glasgow is recruiting for agency kitchen porter to work with our clients in the Isle of Arran area within a care home.

Shift: Rota based (when at the location the clients will issue you your Rota)
Must be flexible

Pay rate: 12.50 per hour

Requirements:
Must have a PVG to be considered for the role
Must have at least 6 months Kitchen porter experience
Must have good attention to detail
Must have good time management skills
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment


Duties include:
Keep all kitchen work surfaces (counters, sinks, stoves, walls) clean and sanitised
Sweep and mop floors at the beginning and ending of shifts
Be ready to clean up spills to avoid hindering operations
Wash cookware, utensils and cutlery fast to keep them in rotation
Arrange equipment and ingredient deliveries
Keep the food and supply storage areas organised
Take out the garbage
Help with routine food prep tasks (such as peeling and chopping vegetables) when needed

The role is in Arron which means you will need to get Ferry from Ardrossan (During summer months the ferry will leave from Troon) Search are going to help pay for the ferry travel there and back but only applies to foot passengers.

There will also be accommodation provided for agency workers taking shifts within the hotel located on the Island. This will only be provided the days you work there and the days you do not work you will come back home.
