Kitchen Porter - seasonal

White Rabbit Projects are currently supporting our partners at Marine Lawn Hotels Resorts on their search to find their next Kitchen Porter at Dornoch Station, a stunning 89-bedroom hotel, which is due to re-open in the Summer of 2023 following a full refurbishment. This is a role where you will be able to develop your skills in a kitchen taking the best seasonal, local ingredients to showcase dishes from Scotland and beyond., As a Kitchen Porter your role will involve supporting the chefs in maintaining kitchen cleanliness, operating dishwashing equipment, and other general kitchen duties.

In this role your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the kitchen and restaurants are clean and tidy at all times.


• Keeping the storerooms in order.


• Ensuring hygiene and health and safety standards are always met.


• Working with the kitchen to provide excellent service to our guests.
  
  Previous experience in a similar role: Experience in a luxury venue would be a distinct advantage.


• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.


• Ability to work under pressure and be flexible.


• Good command of English with the ability to communicate confidently.

This newly refurbished 89 bedroom hotel is set to reopen in Summer 2023. The refurbishment will pay homage to the property's rich history, distinct neighbouring community and scenic views. The hotel is located a short walk from the first tee at Royal Dornoch Golf Course which has been ranked the third-best course in the world.
