Full Job Description

We are looking to offer a L&D Specialist the opportunity to join our expanding L&D team. You will be based remotely but the role requires frequent travel across the UK for workshop delivery., You will join the L&D team in our Group Learning, Leadership and Talent function and report to the Head of Learning and Development. Working across the full range of M Group Services businesses, the L&D team are responsible for supporting learning and development for our employees., As the L&D Specialist, you will play a key part in delivering and designing our L&D offering through our portfolio of self-learning, virtual learning sessions and development programmes. The role provides the opportunity to expand our existing offering, to create interventions to engage, support and inspire our people. We are looking for an experienced creator and facilitator, with a passion to make L&D practical and meaningful, to maximise the impact and to positively influence our employee experience.,

  • Facilitate our Management Development Programmes which focus on practical leadership upskilling and are designed to positively impact employee engagement.
  • Design and deliver engaging virtual Learning Bootcamps and Learning Live sessions focusing on applying key skills.
  • Deliver and enhance our Apprentice and Graduate Development Programmes to support the development of our Apprentices and Graduates.
  • Provide individual and group coaching to support the transfer of learning into the workplace.
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify learning needs and solutions to support business priorities and change projects.
  • Manage our L&D intranet area, to provide clarity and marketing for our L&D offering.
  • Where necessary engage with external training providers to supplement internal delivery.
  • Measure the effectiveness of learning programmes through post-training assessments, surveys, and business impact analysis.
  • Collate monthly L&D reporting metrics and summaries.
  • Work alongside our Digital Learning team to ensure training meets the needs of the subject experts whilst positively impacting the employee experience.
  • Work alongside our Diversity, Equality and Inclusion groups to ensure learning interventions are inclusive and accessible for all.

    Excellent facilitation skills
  • Experience in learning needs analysis, course design, delivery and evaluation
  • Ability to create highly engaging interactive learning material
  • Creation and delivery of Management Development Programmes
  • Insights Discovery Accreditation or equivalent
  • Coaching experience and/or qualification
  • Experience of creating intranet material
  • Experience of video creation
  • Ability to influence and communicate with a broad range of stakeholders, across all levels of the organisation
