Full Job Description
As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the accurate testing and registration of samples, as well as the basic maintenance of essential laboratory instruments. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and is comfortable following technical instructions.
This role is well-suited to people who have gained experience through practical work or vocational training rather than formal education, such as a degree.,
- Register and analyse samples following Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Standards.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation to meet established KPIs.
- Monitor and apply any changes to standard working practices.
- Accurately complete laboratory records and maintain supply levels of consumables and reagents.
- Report any non-conformances in sample registration or analysis.
- Ensure high standards of communication, both verbal and written, with customers.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures relevant to the site and your workstation.
