Full Job Description

  • Plan and lead two performance-focused training sessions per week
  • Game-day coaching for home and away games
  • Act as a role model for positive and inclusive team culture
  • Support our youth development programme
  • Play an active role in the club's leadership team
  • Support our objectives of increasing local participation in hockey

    Prior experience coaching a 1st team competing at National League level
  • Level 2 coaching qualification or working towards a GB coach award.
  • Experience developing young players
    • This is a paid self-employed role, with remuneration dependent on qualifications and experience. We are unable to support UK visa applications or provide accommodation.

    We are looking for an experienced coach with Level 2 coaching qualifications or working towards a level 2 or GB Coach qualification, to lead our talented Ladies 1st Team at training and games and guide the development of Ladies hockey at Grove Menzieshill. Our ideal candidate is someone who can develop aspiring international players, foster a positive team atmosphere, and drive results on the pitch. Training is Tuesdays and Thursdays at Dawson Park in Dundee along with home games. About our club Grove Menzieshill is Dundee's leading hockey club and operates as a registered charity with the purpose of advancing local participation in hockey. We have won over 50 national competitions, represented Scotland in Europe, have a thriving youth section, and our Ladies and Men's teams compete in the Scottish National and Premiership leagues.
