About the role


A recruitment opportunity has arisen for a Lead Commercial Analyst within the Governance and Performance Management team on a 12-month Fixed Term arrangement.


This role will develop the approach for future use of advanced technology within Scotland Excel’s procurement function, supporting the performance management workstream by advising how current data, systems and processes could be transformed to support our members.


The post holder will develop business cases for improving data management and analysis activity and make recommendations on the use of additional digital tools.


The role requires a highly numerate individual with advanced data analysis skills. The successful candidate will have knowledge of how best to optimise large datasets and experience of implementing new tools and software applications to increase efficiency.


The successful candidate will be required to represent Scotland Excel by supporting team members on strategic groups and external forums and to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
