Full Job Description

The Senior Lead Generation Specialist will generate new business opportunities by following proven processes to prospect into public K12 Schools and Districts. The Senior Lead Generation Specialist will also be a 'leader amongst equals' on the team by consistently setting a high standard in their own work, whilst also sharing best practice to support the development and performance of SDR colleagues. You'll communicate perforamnce metrics, market insights and questions on behalf of your team to your direct line manager on a weekly basis. They will identify, understand and research lists of international schools and districts to target, and creatively personalize and develop campaigns to generate new business opportunities, while collaborating within a team.

The Senior Lead Generation Specialist will conduct high-level conversations and connect with faculty and administrators about their education and technology strategies and requirements.

The successful Senior Lead Generation Specialist will be a strongly motivated individual who cares about personal and team results. You will be goal-oriented, creative and tenacious, and can effectively interact and lead the team when needed. You will:

  • Solve the puzzle of identifying the right contact points to bring Nearpod to international schools

  • Become a specialist in your assigned regions and generate opportunities there.

  • Report to the International VP on behalf on the SDR Team

  • Execute creative new prospecting campaigns.

  • Positively influence team performance through sharing best practice and setting high standards

  • Hold discussions with school leaders around their needs & goals.

    2+ years of sales development/sales experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Demonstrated history of proven results in a prior SDR role

  • Driven to learn and succeed in Edtech sales

  • Excited to execute innovative, targeted campaigns to new international regions

  • Experience in K12 Edtech market preferred

  • Experience in SaaS preferred

  • Excellent phone, written and verbal skills

  • Well organized with efficient time management skills

  • Eager to collaborate

  • Likes friendly competition

  • Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to exceeding sales objectives
