Full Job Description
We are looking for a Post Treatment, Paint and Final Assembly Lead Instructor who will be responsible for managing line side instructors in accordance with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) policies and procedures, managing performance, ensuring meaningful 1-2-1s are scheduled and completed along with year-end reviews in line with SGRE people strategy and performance cycles. You will be responsible for ensuring training material, work instructions and training programmes within their area of responsibility are created and delivered to the highest standard. Also, you will be responsible for ensuring that the team approach is standardised and in line with best practice and the Training & Competency department strategy. You will play a key role in ensuring that Hull's production and quality demands are enabled by a highly competent production team. This role is seen as a change agent and someone that positively influences both culture and behaviour, as well as working with teams and stakeholders to optimise both process and people utilisation. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing team within a dynamic business, delivering innovation to the renewable energy Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:
- Developing and reviewing material and documentation to deliver global and local blade competency training in line with certification and recertification programme working collaboratively with lineside SMEs and global TES (Technology and Standards)
- Ensuring that the work and approach of instructors is standardised, and best practice is shared.
- To continuously monitor the effectiveness of the training programmes and support other lineside instructors to maintain and modify training programmes and materials to ensure adherence to global governance, local arrangements, legislative guidelines, and policies
- Working towards standardising the process and sharing best practices
- Training and delivering theory and practical courses for internal basic, specialist training and additional technical courses in line with certification and recertification programmes
- Responsible for continuous improvement across the teams
- Working and collaborating with other team members and production supervisors in order to provide operation support
- Evaluating and communicating training improvements/suggestions ensuring improvements are implemented
- Providing technical support for lineside Instructors and production, acting as a subject matter expert offering both hands on and technical advice
- Contributing to the performance management process for lineside instructors and buddies. Monitor and report on progress of lineside instructors providing feedback to training function and line managers, ensuring best practice compliance with role expectations
- Supporting the induction and onboarding of new employees
- Supporting lineside instructors, production managers, segment leads when needed

- Working without direction and use own initiative to prioritise critical projects and tasks
- Planning, managing and successfully delivering multiple and complex projects
