As a Learning Content Designer, you will join our Learning and Talent team where youll play a key role in creating diverse training materials, including eLearning, microlearning, and scenario-based learning, ensuring they meet best practices in learning design. Youll provide subject matter expertise to our business customers and manage the entire lifecycle of content creation, from inception to implementation, keeping stakeholders fully informed and engaged throughout. Youll work closely with Learning Partners, Learning Managers, Trainers, business customers, and the learning services team, collaborating and leveraging your influencing skills to deliver the best learning content design. This role also involves traveling to sites to conduct observations for technical content creation, providing guidance to ensure the learning experience is as effective and impactful as possible. The main responsibilities of the role include:

- Creating innovative and high-impact learning designs that promote genuine skill and behavioural changes, using a mix of off-the-shelf content and customised materials to cater to various learning preferences.

- Working closely with Learning Partners, Managers, and subject matter experts to identify and articulate learning needs, ensuring that all educational programs are relevant, practical, and aligned with our strategic objectives.

- Developing accessible, inclusive, and interactive learning journeys that provide outstanding learning experiences. This involves reviewing and enhancing existing materials and occasionally visiting sites to gain a deep understanding of operational needs.

- Leverage data, insights from past projects, and current industry trends to optimise the impact and cost-effectiveness of learning content, while staying updated on emerging trends and tools in the learning and development sector.

- Overseeing the planning, design, and development of high-quality blended learning programmes, managing each project from inception to delivery and ensuring that all learning initiatives enhance overall business performance.

To be considered for this role, youll need to have a genuine enthusiasm for creating learning experiences that are engaging, inclusive, and aligned with current industry trends. We would also love you to have:

- Proven skills in creating digital learning content, with proficiency in tools like Articulate Storyline 360, Vyond, Premiere Pro, and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with eLearning plugins (JavaScript, HTML, AI) for custom interactivity, and comfort with using Learning Management Systems (preferably Oracle LMS).

- Experience of working within brand guidelines while achieving creative results

- A track record of managing multiple learning design projects, ensuring they meet objectives, timelines, and budgets.

- Experience of working collaboratively with subject matter experts to coordinate and oversee the planning, design, development, testing and evaluation of digital resources and digital provision of programmes.

- Experience of applying learning and design methodologies, and confidence in advising on a range of learning design theories and principles.
