An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Learning and Development Advisor - Neurodevelopmental based at Centre Stage, Kilmarnock but with travel throughout North Ayrshire. This is a fixed-term post for 12 months from start date. What you will do: This is an exciting opportunity for a Neurodevelopmental Learning & Development Adviser to design, coordinate and deliver training and development for North Ayrshire Health and Social Care staff within Childrens Services. Working collaboratively with neurodivergent individuals, families/carers, professionals, clinicians, and staff across our Children's services, the post holder will help upskill and develop the workforce. Reporting to the Neurodevelopmental Programme Lead, the post holder enhances the ability of North Ayrshire's children's services' workforce to contribute effectively to the implementation and realisation of the Scottish Government's National Neurodevelopmental Specification for Children and Young People through the design, development and implementation of a range of learning and development interventions related to Neurodevelopmental Differences (NDD) in children and young people and support for families. This is an excellent opportunity to be instrumental in the further enhancement of North Ayrshire family supports and services to further develop a person centred, accessible and empathic approach for our neurodivergent children, young people and families.,

Educated to Degree level, or equivalent knowledge and experience. - Developed experience working in a complex training environment with demonstrable evidence of success.
- Knowledge and experience of designing and delivering learning programmes and interventions.
- Proficient user of IT equipment and software applications.
- Excellent presentation skills and interpersonal skills Desirable
- Developed experience of working in a large organisation with strong service orientation.
- Knowledge and experience of working with accrediting bodies and Occupational Standards.
- Project Management Experience
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines., 37 hours per week, however applicants seeking to work between 22 and 36.5 hours per week will be considered. The base for this post will be agreed with the successful candidate, although some working across North Ayrshire is essential. Driving licence and own car is preferred. Driving Licence/Car Ownership: A car licence/car ownership is desirable for this role.
