Lecturer in Sports & Fitness (Pre-approved Register)

Ayrshire College are currently looking to recruit Lecturers with a strong background in Sport and Fitness teamed with a passion for teaching, to our Pre-approved Register.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide class cover if and when required throughout the current academic year. By doing so, you will contribute to a positive learning environment which encourages active participation enabling all learners to achieve their full potential.

This will involve supporting the Curriculum Quality Manager in the delivery of the department curriculum to the quality and standards required, through an integrated learning experience that supports the student journey and high quality learning and teaching experiences.

You will be qualified to degree level in Sport and/or Fitness or a closely related subject area relevant to the Skill Area, with relevant industry experience. Experience in delivering Sport and Fitness units within a College environment is desirable. A comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential, along with excellent motivational, communication and organisational skills. It is also desirable, but not essential, that you hold, or are working towards, a professional teaching qualification.
