A vacancy has arisen within the Department of Creative, Digital & Leisure Industries for the position of Lecturer in Media and Photography. Teaching across a range of SCQF Levels, you will have relevant industrial and teaching experience in the Creative Industries and particularly in the areas of Media and Photography. This position will involve delivery and assessment of theoretical and technical aspects associated with provision including Access, National Certificates, Higher National and Degree level qualifications. Experience of working within Photography and specialist Film and Television media facilities is essential.

You will be an enthusiastic, committed and flexible individual with the ability to deliver high quality learning, teaching and assessment across a range of courses. You will have a professional approach to dealing with students, motivating them to participate successfully in education and training. You will be committed to high quality delivery of provision with high levels of customer service orientation and a focus on continuous improvement. You will develop learning, teaching and assessment approaches through effective use of techniques/technologies and maintain relevant Quality Assurance documentation to ensure compliance with awarding bodies. You will have experience of developing innovative teaching practice along with good organisational skills and evidence of appropriate ICT skills.
