Lecturer – Plumbing Services

1 FTE Permanent 

FT Salary: £40,170 – £48,357 per annum

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated member of staff to work with us as a lecturer within the plumbing team based in Inverness


Job Purpose:

Provide teaching and learning within our Construction and Engineering curriculum area delivering on our Plumbing Services courses. You will be required to deliver curriculum in an innovative manner with a focus on the sectors best practice. Being an effective team member and able to deliver a high-quality curriculum and educational experience is a key focus of this role as is developing green skills and renewable energy.

Essential Criteria:


  • Qualified to SVQ Level 3 Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
  • Have significant relevant industrial experience.
  • Have current and relevant evidence of CPD.
  • (Desirable) industry recognised renewables training certificates or qualifications.

You should also be flexible, reflective, innovative, creative and personally committed to continuing vocational and professional development.


You should possess effective interpersonal skills and have good IT skills in applications such as MS Office and other relevant subject related software packages.


Please note: the successful post holder will need to pass a satisfactory PVG Scheme check through Disclosure Scotland prior to commencing employment.
