Variable Hours Supply Contract (As and when required)

Grade Unpromoted Lecturer (Salary £40,170 – £48,357 per annum FTE)

We are seeking a candidate for a position as Supply Lecturer in the Teacher Education team, to work alongside academic colleagues as part of the delivery of our Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) (Primary and Secondary). Most classes are delivered online through our Brightspace virtual learning environment. Induction and the first classes are delivered face-to-face in Inverness area. 


This role presents a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic person who enjoys teaching and learning to join an experienced and diverse team. You will be required to deliver curriculum in an innovative manner with a focus on best practice in the teaching of topics relevant to your role. You will be required to be an effective team member able to deliver a high-quality curriculum and educational experience

The suitable candidate must have full registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) for Primary or Secondary. You should also be flexible, reflective, innovative, creative and personally committed to continuing vocational and professional development.
