Full Job Description

Deliver the safe operation of recreational facilities, including swimming pools within a defined geographical area, by assisting the Duty Officer in the development and improvement of all service areas and providing a high standard of customer relations.

There is a requirement to undertake manual handling on a daily basis. There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

There are various hours available:

Vacant Shift Pattern 1

Week 1: Tue 1530-1930, Wed 1530-1930, Thu 1530-2100

Week 2: Tue 1530-1930, Wed 1530-1930, Sat 1100-1500

Vacant Shift Pattern 2

Week 1: Wed 1600-200, Thu 1630-2100, Fri 1600-1930

Week 2: Wed 1600-2000, Thu 1630-2100

Vacant Shift Pattern 3

Week 1: Wed 0545-1500, Thu 0545-1630, Fri 1230-2000

Week 2: Tue 1145-1700, Thu 0545-0915, 1530-1930, Fri 1230-2000

Shift schedules are not set and can be adjusted dependent on the availability of individual.

This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
