Full Job Description

Reporting to the Lubricants Manager, you will Accurately receive, store and issue stock materials in accordance with customer and company requirements. Delivery of bulk and packaged lubricants to client sites and quayside locations including direct to vessels. Roles and responsibilities are as follows;

  • Receiving and offloading of goods (Bulk/Packed) using the Clarus Stock Management System. Confirming materials delivered correspond with paperwork, investigating discrepancies and/or damage.
  • Safeguarding materials stored in the Warehouse and external storage areas in compliance with procedures, e.g. correctly identified with stock codes, location, weights and protected from environmental damage. Ensure correct segregation and documentation of dangerous goods.
  • Ensuring requests for materials are received, located, properly actioned in accordance with procedures.
  • Correctly packing of all materials (Bulk/Packed) ensuring they are accurately labelled and loaded for transportation.
  • Identifying requested stock and loading it for transportation.
  • Delivery of goods to land or quayside locations, as required.
  • Performing daily safety and maintenance checks on vehicles.
  • Participation in an Out of Hours On-Call / Weekend Rota.
  • Correctly utilising forklifts and lifting equipment as set out in legislative and Company procedures.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the Warehouse and Yard areas and at customer worksites.
  • Presenting a positive image of the company through first class service delivery and customer engagement.
  • Building effective relationships across the business, continually seeking to improve operations and identify cost savings.
  • Continuously promoting a pro-active HSEQ culture, ensuring participation and compliance.
  • Proactively assisting colleagues and undertaking adhoc duties, as required, in line with applicable training/competency assessments undertaken.
