A vacancy has arisen within our Inspection Department for a Line Controller on 'D' Crew. Responsibilities: style="margin-bottom:13.0px"- -Carrying out specified tests and checks to ensure bottles meet necessary specifications and quality is maintained. -Communicate with the hot end, verbally and via the Ardagh Production System (APS). -Observe the performance of cold end equipment, reporting any faults to the appropriate personnel as quickly as possible. The successful applicant should have a sound knowledge of glass inspection equipment and bottle faults. Required skills / qualifications: style="margin-top:8.0px"- -Educated to SQA Higher Level. -Knowledge of glass inspection equipment and bottle faults. -Enthusiasm, commitment, personal drive, and customer focus. -A good understanding of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Tools and continuous improvement -Awareness of relevant Health & Safety and Hygiene Regulations. -Computer literate with good oral and written communication skills. -Committed to Total Quality Standards.
