Full Job Description

Live in care enables you to be an integral part of your client's life. During your visits, you will be responsible for assisting with medication prompts, personal care including hygiene support, cleaning & cooking nutritious meals for both the client & yourself. Help bring peace of mind to family members by being a companion to their loved ones, taking part in activities throughout your stay and ensuring that promoting independence is at the forefront of everything you do. You will receive a daily 2 hour break, out with this you must be available to support your client whenever necessary.

Requirements of a live in carer

  • Professional care experience.

  • The ability to move into your clients home for a minimum of two weeks.

  • Travel throughout Scotland is a necessity of the role.

  • Registration with the SSSC within the first 6 months of employment.

  • PVG membership

    Shift Patterns: (Including weekends)

  • 2 weeks on/2 weeks off.

  • 3 weeks on/1 week off.


    • Pay Breakdown:
  • £805 to £910 - Basic Weekly Pay.

  • £35 Weekly Food Allowance.

  • Up to £75 Contribution to Travel Expenses per month.

  • Level-Access up to 35% of your earnings before payday.
