The Oral Surgery part of the post gives the opportunity for assessment and treatment of new patients allowing the post holder to gain wide, well supported, experience. The Oral Pathology component of the first 6 month rotation will consist of 1 day a week at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary pathology department.  The post holder will be able to exploit the links between oral surgery and pathology as they follow patients on their journey.
