LOCUM CONSULTANT GENERAL SURGEON
&
Ambulatory (Day-Case) Surgery
An opportunity has arisen for a locum appointment for a Consultant General Surgeon to join the Tayside-wide Regional General Surgery Service. The post is based at NHS Taysides Hospitals, namely Ninewells Hospital & Medical School with further sessions at Perth Royal Infirmary and Stracathro Hospital. The post holder will join a dynamic team of general surgeons who provide Emergency and Elective services (secondary and tertiary care) for general & subspecialist GI surgery (Colorectal, Upper GI, HPB & Advanced Malignancy).
This post will have a major commitment to Emergency & Ambulatory General Surgery. Complementary sub-specialist interest is welcomed and encouraged where the emphasis would be on the out-patient and in-patient elective activity, in particular benign biliary services.
Applicants should be on the GMCs Specialist Register or be within 6 months of obtaining CCT or CESR(CP) at the date of interview.
