Locum Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with an Interest in Hand Surgery
NHS Lanarkshire - University Hospital Wishaw
Fixed Term until 31/03/2025
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a locum consultant post with sub-specialty interest in Hand Surgery within the Trauma and Orthopaedic Service in NHS Lanarkshire.

Main Duties of the Role
- To provide inpatient and outpatient Orthopaedic services and to provide additional support to the Hand service

NHS Lanarkshire is an exciting innovative health board to work for, serving a population of 650 000 with 3 acute hospitals. NHS Lanarkshire seeks to appoint a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with an interest in lower limb trauma and arthroplasty to join our multidisciplinary team. The post would include a full commitment to adult and paediatric trauma in the Wishaw Trauma Unit which is part of the West of Scotland Major Trauma Network. The post also offers the opportunity to develop a full elective practice based at the other acute hospitals in Lanarkshire with a dedicated elective unit at Hairmyres Hospital.
