Full Job Description
About the Role: We are on the lookout for a dedicated and proficient Log Yard Mobile
Plant Machine Operator to become part of our team at Lockerbie Sawmill. Your role will
involve operating mobile plant machinery to efficiently and safely transport logs within the
yard. Experience with various mobile plant equipment is essential.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Operate mobile plant machinery including 360-degree timber handling machines
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and protocols
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Undertake daily machine checks
Adherence to operational requirements for mobile plant operation - Compliance with health and safety regulations and operational standards
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in safely operating all or individual items
- Current training certificates to enable operation of all or individual items of mobile
