Role Overview: As the M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the project management team, ensuring the successful financial management and control of mechanical and electrical projects within the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake accurate cost analysis for M&E projects, including materials, labour, and overheads.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure cost-effective project execution.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.
• Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate contracts.
• Manage change orders, variations, and claims effectively.
• Monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor in the construction contractor sector.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and their associated costs.
• Proficiency in cost estimating, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
