• Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:30
• 11.90 per hour
• Immediate starts for the right applicants

Working as a Machine Operative your role will involve:

• Setting up machinery for operation
• Starting machinery and making adjustments to production machinery when necessary
• Operate production machinery and equipment according to instructions
• Troubleshoot issues and performance maintenance
• Perform quality control, follow reporting and record keeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor
• Comply with all safety and health regulations
• Clean production machinery cleanliness in work area

To be successful in this Machinery Operative role you will ideally have previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similarly relevant experience, ideally with a degree of engineering knowledge. Combined with:

• Great attention to detail
• A thorough understanding of production and plant processes
• Good analytical and numerical skills
• The ability to follow written and oral instructions
• The ability to work in a team
• Ability to lift heavy equipment
• Willingness to work in shifts
