Machine Operator

Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for a reliable individual to become a Machine Operator with our client's well-known production and manufacturing facility in South Lanarkshire!

Previous production and labelling experience is essential.

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm. Friday, 8am to 1pm

Pay rates: 12 per hour

As a Machine Operator, we would expect you to have a keen eye for detail, a high level of reliability and punctuality.

Your duties as a Machine Operator will include:

• Hand packing products at a fast pace
• Quality checking each product, including high-end products
• Operating machinery to ensure smooth performance
• Performing product changeovers

Machine Operator skills and requirements:

• Previous experience of labelling, ideally within the drinks industry
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently using your initiative
• Experience of working within a production environment (working within the spirits industry would be a distinct advantage)
• The ability to work as part of a team, ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and in-line with company requirements
• The ability to manage numerous tasks whilst managing your time effectively
