Full Job Description

Machine Shop Inspector - Motherwell

We're looking for a skilled Mechanical Inspector to join a manufacturing client in Motherwell on a permanent basis.

What's involved:

Calibrating and inspecting precision tools and parts.
Investigating component faults and raising reports through SAP.
Working with high-tech tools like CMMs and FARO arms.
Managing stock of inspection materials and processing orders.
Ensuring quality standards in a machine shop environment.

What you'll need:

Time-served in mechanical engineering.
Experience with micrometers, verniers and CMM (or willingness to train).
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Flexible and willing to support other teams.

This is a Monday-Thursday dayshift role 18.45ph.
