Machinist

Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a Machinist to their team on a permanent basis. You'll be based in the Stirling area.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 4pm, Friday 8am - 3pm

Salary: 29K - 32K

Daily Duties -

• Set and operate manual lathes, horizontal borers, vertical borers, and milling machines
• Complete documentation, quality plans, workshop instructions and inspection records when required
• Ensure all pre-safety checks are completed, and all equipment and guarding in the Machine Shop is maintained
• Liaise with Engineers and Supervisors to ensure machines and equipment are repaired and serviced
• Keep machine and work area clean and ensuring tools and equipment returned after use

Candidate Requirements -

• Time-served and relevant engineering qualification
• Previous experience within a machine shop environment
• Driving Licence
