Maintenance Engineer - Electrical

Due to continued investment in new equipment and expansion plans, ourclient have a number of job opportunities across Engineering.

JOB OVERVIEW

Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all the production equipment and facilities within the site to ensure maximum efficiency of the site production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Maintenance and repair of a range of machinery.

· Incorporating excellent relations with external contractors

· Ensuring all personnel on site comply with safe work practices

· Ensuring where possible production is not impacted.

· Preventative maintenance of machinery.

· Carry out any special projects as required by management team

· Maintenance of records for repairs, breakdowns, installations etc

· Working with Operators to identify faults and improve ways of working

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

· Experience of electrical and mechanical plants

· Experience of planned maintenance systems, breakdown maintenance and

installation of motors, VFD’s and PLC’s

· Apprenticeship or equivalent formal training programme

· Experience with food process and packing equipment would be an advantage

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

· Experience of Engineering in a Production role.

· Excellent problem solver

· Proactive in completing PMP’s and breakdowns
