Electrical Engineer - Food Manufacturing

Location: Scottish Borders
Salary: Up to 23.00 per hour. (DOE)
Schedule: 4 on 4 off (06:00 - 18:00, with some variation during peak periods)
Benefits: Overtime at 1.5x rate, 236.5 hours annual leave, weekly pay


Are you an Electrical Engineer with a passion for keeping things running smoothly? We're recruiting for a leading food manufacturing facility in the Scottish Borders, where you'll join a skilled engineering team dedicated to excellence.



The Role

In this Electrical Engineer position, you'll:

Perform reactive and planned preventative maintenance on food washing, grading, and packing equipment.
Focus on electrical fault-finding, working with PLCs, control systems, and a variety of machinery.
Contribute to continuous improvement projects and installation works.


About You

We're looking for someone who:

Holds an 18th edition electrical qualification.
Brings strong electrical knowledge, ideally with some mechanical experience.
Thrives as a proactive problem-solver with a 'can-do' attitude.
Is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic team.
