Full Job Description

Easthall Park is looking to appoint a Maintenance Manager who will be a member of the Senior Management Team and lead the Maintenance Team to deliver continuous improvement in our performance in our repairs service and major repairs programme.

Easthall Park Housing Association is a community based housing association and registered charity situated in the Easterhouse area of Glasgow. We own 694 properties and provide a factoring management service to 55 owner-occupiers.

We have recently completed a strategic review of our business through assessment of our strategy, structure and culture. The new Business Plan sets out a clear vision to make “Easthall Park a Great Place to Live”, which will guide and direct our work and services. We have a new staff structure to ensure we have the resources to achieve our objectives and meet the needs and expectations of our tenants and other stakeholders.

It is an exciting time to join Easthall Park, where you could be part of a dynamic, experienced and committed staff team who have a focus on the next stage of our journey of improvement.

We are looking to appoint a qualified person with a track record of experience and success in the delivery of the maintenance service and asset management. Experience in managing an in-house repair service is seen as essential criteria for the role, as we have recently established our in-house Trades Team and we are seeing improved performance, quality of service and best value outcomes in our re-active repairs service.  The successful candidate should have a passion for customer service and engage with our tenants and residents to inform the delivery of repair service. They should also be positive, energetic, dynamic and be committed to our organisational values to excel in the role.

If you feel you have the skills, knowledge, experience and personal attributes to make a major contribution in our journey of improvement, we would be delighted to receive your application.

To apply for the Maintenance Manager’s post, we would ask you to submit your CV and a supporting statement including key questions from the person specification on how you feel you are suitable for this role.

The Recruitment Panel will shortlist applicants and they will be invited for interview in October 2024.

Employers in Voluntary Housing (EVH) conditions of service and entitlements apply to this post. Easthall Park is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and welcomes applications from all sectors of the community.
