Location: Royston, Glasgow

Salary: £39,072 - £42,903

Grade: EVH Grade 7

Hours: Full Time – 35 hours per week

Contract: Permanent


Spire View Housing Association are looking for an experienced and dynamic Maintenance Officer to join the Team.

As our new Maintenance Officer, you will need experience delivering an efficient and effective maintenance and property management service, an understanding of our tenants’ priorities and deliver on our promises to provide excellent customer service and great value for money. Helping us to ensure that Spire View remains the “landlord of choice” for our Royston community.


We are looking for someone with experience developing positive working relationships with our contractors, overseeing work to ensure our tenants' money is well spent and communicating effectively throughout. We expect you to take ownership of your role and make decisions and work on your own initiative. You will need to know all about the current regulatory frameworks of Scottish Housing Quality Standards SHQS) and Energy Efficiency Standard in Social Housing (EESSH) and be knowledgeable on all aspects of legislation and regulation surrounding tenant safety. You must also be confident with budgets and figures. 


This is a core professional role for us and your contribution to our small team will be vital to maintain our positive reputation with our customers and our local stakeholders. You will supervise and offer support to other members of the maintenance and housing team and be ready to provide expert advice when needed based on a relevant professional qualification or significant practical experience delivering similar services.
