Maintenance Technician

What will I be doing?

We'll be looking for you to provide planned and reactive maintenance for all areas of the plant based at our Altens East Materials Recycling Facility:

+ Ensuring plant installations and modifications meet the latest standards and regulatory requirements.
+ Support colleagues across different functions to seek opportunities for continuous improvements, driving change to reduce maintenance costs and improve overall efficiency.

The working hours are Monday - Friday.

You will have a predominantly Mechanical background with basic electrical knowledge:

+ Ideally Completion of a relevant engineering apprenticeship.
+ Qualified to City and Guilds level or NVQ level 3
+ Experience of working with and maintaining fixed and mobile plant.
+ Health and Safety qualification(s), such as IOSH Managing Safely
+ Experience of working with 'Lean' manufacturing techniques.
+ Having hands on knowledge of equipment including conveyors, motors, gearboxes and hydraulics.
+ The ability to use Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
